Relamping T5HE fluorescent fixtures in offices, schools and warehouses is faster when the new lamp can run on the existing ballast. The EiKO 09558 (LED12.5WT5HE/46/850-G7DR) is a 4 ft glass direct-fit (Type A) LED T5 that replaces a 28 W fluorescent lamp with 12.5 W and 1800 lumens at 5000K. Facility maintenance teams use it to cut energy without rewiring fixtures.

Because this is a ballast-driven lamp, check the fixture's ballast model against EiKO's compatibility list before a large relamp, and test one fixture first. Dimming and emergency operation depend on the ballast being on that list; EiKO's own product page marks the lamp non-dimmable, so do not promise dimming on an untested ballast.
