I used the Klein Tools ET450 Advanced Circuit Tracer Kit on a troubleshooting job in Toronto where the panel wasn’t labeled properly (classic). Once the transmitter was connected to the circuit, the receiver sensitivity made it straightforward to isolate the signal and confirm the correct breaker without playing guess-and-check. What impressed me most is that it’s built for energized and non-energized breakers, fuses, and wires, and it’s designed to detect the signal through drywall, cement block, and even underground.

Great light, easy pick up loved it!

I installed the Luminiz LED Puck Light (3CCT) under my kitchen cabinets and it instantly made the space look more modern and usable. The big win is the 3CCT option—being able to choose the colour temperature means you can match whatever bulbs you already have, or adjust the mood depending on the room.

The light output feels even and practical for everyday tasks like meal prep and cleaning. It’s also a great option for display shelving where you want a neat, low-profile light instead of a bulky fixture.

Clean-looking alarm that made our Toronto house feel instantly safer

We installed the P4010DCS in our Toronto home (older place, lots of “real life” clutter—kids stuff, coats, and a constantly messy hallway). I mounted it high up on the wall near the ceiling, and it immediately looked tidy and professional, even in a space that’s not exactly staged for a showroom.

The unit sits flush, doesn’t look bulky, and the front button is easy to find without needing to squint or climb around. What I appreciated most is the simple “set it and forget it” feel—once it’s up, it feels like a serious upgrade to home safety without turning the space into an industrial-looking setup.

I used this steel utility/device box for a small wiring job where I wanted a clean, secure enclosure instead of a plastic box. The metal feels sturdy, the edges are clean (no sharp burrs to fight with), and the knockout layout gives you flexibility depending on where your cable or conduit needs to enter.

What I liked

Sturdy galvanized steel: Feels rigid and holds shape during install.

Clean knockouts: They pop out cleanly with a screwdriver/pliers, without mangling the box.

Good mounting points: Easy to fasten and keep the box aligned and flush.

Professional finish: Looks and feels like what electricians actually use on site.

What could be better

If you’re working in a tight space, plan your entry points before mounting—metal boxes don’t “forgive” last-second changes the way plastic sometimes does.

Best for

General electrical rough-in work

Extending/relocating devices (with the correct cover/plate for your setup)

Junction/transition points where you want a durable, code-friendly enclosure

Pro tip
Before you tighten everything down, do a quick “dry fit” with your cable/conduit path and device/cover so your knockouts and alignment are perfect the first time.

Pot light died and needed a quick replacement

I had a pot light go out and was looking for a replacement of the same model. They were on special so I bought 4 to have a few spare. They were fast for delivery amd the ordering process online was easy! Great experience overall.
