Order rings by the handful against every box of connectors, and keep them in the bin with the locknuts rather than loose in the van. Techspan lists more than one part number under the same 3/4 inch NPT description, so order by the exact part number and not by the hub size — two rings that both read 3/4 inch NPT are not necessarily interchangeable, and you will not find out until one of them refuses to seat.
