Common questions
How high should a linear pendant hang over an island?
A common starting point is 30 to 36 inches above the counter surface, adjusted for ceiling height and the height of the people using the space. These fixtures ship with adjustable rods so the drop can be set on site.
Are bulbs included?
Not always. Several fixtures in this range are sold without bulbs and state the maximum wattage and base type instead. Check the individual product page, and order bulbs at the same time so the fixture is usable on day one.
What does 3-CCT selectable mean?
A switch on the fixture lets you choose among three colour temperatures at install. You commit to the colour on site rather than at the time of order, which helps when matching lighting already in the room.
What does the IP65 rating on the outdoor fixture mean?
IP65 means the fixture is sealed against dust and protected against water jets from any direction, which covers exposure to rain on an exterior wall. Do not use an unrated indoor fixture outdoors.
Are these dimmable?
Some are and some are not. Dimmability is stated on each product page, and dimmable LED fixtures need a compatible dimmer to avoid flicker. Check both the fixture and the dimmer before ordering.
