About this category

Complete track lighting systems for Canadian retail, gallery, and kitchen installs: heads, straight track in three lengths, joiners, live-end connectors, and canopy kits. The 120 products are mostly Galaxy Lighting, which keeps parts compatible when you expand a run later.

  • GU10 halogen track heads from $21 in white or brushed nickel, 50W
  • Track sections at 2, 4, and 8 feet, white or black, from $12
  • Adjustable cylinder heads accepting up to 150W PAR lamps
  • Joiners, live-end connectors, and pendant adaptors from $7
  • Floating canopy kits in white and pewter finishes

The whole system ships together across Canada in 3 to 7 business days. Ontario and Quebec orders clear free shipping at $150, everyone else gets 10% off applied at checkout, our Vaughan, ON counter handles pickups, and pricing is backed by a price match guarantee.

Track lighting is a modular system: a powered track section carries the circuit, and heads clip in anywhere along it so you can aim light at counters, artwork, or shelving. Buy track, heads, and connectors as one system, since track profiles are not interchangeable between manufacturers. Work out the total load before ordering, because the track carries an amperage rating and GU10 or PAR heads at 50W to 150W add up quickly. Live-end connectors feed power in, joiners extend a run, and a floating canopy hides the ceiling box.
Common questions
Will heads from one brand fit another brand of track?
Generally no. Track comes in different profiles and contact layouts, and heads are built for one of them. Most of the track, heads, and fittings in this collection are Galaxy Lighting, which keeps a system compatible when you extend it later. Check the profile on your existing track before ordering heads.
How many heads can I run on one track?
The limit is the circuit and the track rating, not the length of the run. Add the wattage of every head and stay inside the rated amperage of the track and the breaker feeding it. Six 50W GU10 heads draw about 300 watts, but 150W PAR heads reach the limit far sooner.
What does a live-end connector do?
It brings power into the track from the ceiling box at the end of a run. A floating canopy kit does the same job when the feed lands partway along the track instead of at the end. Joiners only connect two sections mechanically and electrically, and carry no feed of their own.
Can track lighting be dimmed?
Both the heads and the control have to allow it. Several of the halogen GU10 heads listed here are marked non-dimmable on their product pages. For a dimmable run, choose dimmable heads and a dimmer sized to the total connected load, and check with your electrician if the run mixes head types.
Can I get the whole track system in one order?
Yes. Track, heads, joiners, and canopies ship together across Canada in roughly 3 to 7 business days. Ontario and Quebec orders over $150 ship free, and other provinces get 10% off applied at checkout. Counter pickup at 8520 Jane St, Vaughan, ON is available, and we price match.
