The Intermatic WP5100W is a white, single-gang, extra-duty in-use weatherproof cover with a 2.75 in deep lid, a little deeper than the low-profile WP5000W for moulded plugs and cord caps. It keeps the receptacle weatherproof while in use, mounts vertically or horizontally, and is certified cULus and cCSAus.

Inserts go missing on service calls, and a cover without the right insert isn't sealed. Intermatic sells the WP17 insert set separately, so keep a set on the truck for when a receptacle gets swapped from a duplex to a GFCI.
