The opaque grey finish suits utility areas and grey siding, and like the rest of the WP5100 family it stays weatherproof with a cord plugged in, mounts vertically or horizontally, and locks with a standard padlock.

Pro tip from the counter
When the cover is mounted vertically, orient it so the hinge is at the top. Gravity then pulls the lid shut after someone unplugs a cord, rather than leaving the receptacle open to rain until the next person walks by.
