Stripping the jacket off NMD90 (Loomex) cable with a utility knife is slow and it's easy to nick a conductor. The Rack-A-Tiers 47010 V-Cutter is a small steel blade that attaches to most wire strippers so you can open non-metallic sheathed cable with a single swipe. Electricians use this cable stripper attachment for rough-in and device work, in or out of the box.

Pro tip from the counter
On flat two-conductor NMD90, run the V-Cutter down the middle of the flat face, over the bare bonding conductor. If the blade digs in, it lands on the bare copper instead of an insulated hot or neutral, and you can peel the jacket off both sides from there.
