The Intermatic WP3100C is an economical single-gang plastic in-use weatherproof cover for everyday outdoor receptacles. Its clear 2.75 in lid closes over a plugged-in cord, it mounts vertically or horizontally, and it ships with three WP17 inserts for duplex, single, GFCI and Decora-style devices. It is a good fit for homes and light commercial exteriors where a cover sees normal use rather than abuse.

Pro tip from the counter
The hasp on this model only takes a 1/8 in (3 mm) shank, so a standard padlock won't fit. If the customer wants the cover locked, sell a small luggage-style lock with it, or step up to an extra-duty WP5100-series cover, which takes a 1/4 in shank.
Best for: residential exterior receptacles, decks and backyards, light commercial storefronts, replacement of cracked flip-lid covers
