Control wiring on vibrating machinery needs a ring terminal whose barrel won't split open under pull or crimp pressure. The Techspan R2A14S is a non-insulated silver brazed barrel ring terminal for 22-18 AWG copper wire with a ring for #12 or 1/4 in studs, sold in packs of 100. The brazed seam can be crimped from any direction, which suits both solid and stranded wire.

Pro tip from the counter
Match the ring to the screw, not just to the wire. The R2A14S is made for #12 or 1/4 in studs, and on a #8 or #10 screw the oversized ring can slide off-centre under the screw head and work loose; Techspan's R2A10 in the same 22-18 AWG line is the one for 8-10 studs.
