Weight: 0.06 lb

Foyers, dining rooms and open kitchens with taller ceilings need a pendant with enough size and light to fill the space. The Galaxy Lighting Metro 813781BN is a large three-light bowl pendant in brushed nickel with marbled glass, measuring 19-5/8 in across and 23-3/4 in high. It takes three medium-base bulbs up to 100 W each (not included), making it a practical choice for renovators and builders finishing a main living area.

Why renovators pick it

  • Nearly 20 in wide bowl gives the scale a foyer or dining room needs.
  • Marbled glass softens and spreads the light from three sockets.
  • Brushed nickel finish pairs with stainless appliances and satin hardware.
  • Standard medium-base sockets take common A19 LED or incandescent bulbs.
  • Part of Galaxy's Metro family for matching fixtures in adjoining rooms.

Pro tip from the counter

Galaxy lists the same Metro large pendant in dark bronze at about 22 lb, which is heavy for a glass bowl fixture. Before hanging it, have your electrician confirm the ceiling outlet box is secured to the framing and marked for the fixture weight, rather than trusting a shallow box screwed only to drywall.

Best for: front foyers and entry halls, dining rooms, open-concept kitchens, homes with 9 ft or taller ceilings
