Motor control centres, combination starters and transformer feeders need a compact fuse that rides through inrush but still limits fault current. The Littelfuse JTD080 is an 80 A POWR-PRO Class J time-delay, dual-element fuse rated 600 VAC and 300 VDC with a 200 kA interrupting rating. Its patented design is built to cut nuisance openings on high-inrush loads while giving Type 2 no-damage protection to motor circuit components.

Pro tip from the counter
Class J holders change size above 60 A, so an 80 A JTD with blade terminals will not fit a 60 A Class J block; confirm the holder is rated for 61 to 100 A Class J before you order a spare set for a starter bucket.
