DC-powered equipment such as battery chargers, marine and mobile systems needs a panel-mounted inlet that seals out water and cannot be confused with an AC connection. The Techspan SCM360B3W (made by Scame, EUREKA-HD UL series) is a 60 A, 250 VDC, 2-pole 3-wire flush-mounting appliance inlet rated IP67 watertight. Panel builders and OEMs mount it on the equipment so a portable cord connector can plug in.

Pro tip from the counter

Blue does not mean 250 VAC here. This inlet is keyed at 3h for DC, so the common 6h blue 60 A 250 VAC connectors will not fit. Order the matching 3h DC connector (such as SCM360C3W) for the cord side at the same time.
