Portable 208 V three-phase equipment that also needs 120 V inside, such as kitchen lines, test benches and stage gear, runs on 4-pole 5-wire cord sets. The Techspan SCM560C9W is the female cord connector for that job: a 60 A IEC 60309 pin and sleeve connector for 120/208 V three-phase wye, blue coded at 9 o'clock and watertight to IP67. Note that a 4-pole 5-wire 120/208 V device is a wye system with neutral, not delta.

Pro tip from the counter

The IP67 rating only applies when the connector is plugged in or its cap is closed. Snap the cover shut every time the cord is unplugged and hang the end off the floor, because a heavy 60 A cord end left lying open on a wet floor collects water in the sleeves.
