The Intermatic WP1250MXD is an extra-duty die-cast aluminum in-use weatherproof cover for double-gang boxes, built for exposed commercial and industrial receptacles. Its 4.625 in deep lid hinges vertically, closes over two plugged-in cords up to #12 AWG, and stands up to impact and hinge abuse that would crack a plastic cover.
