Control transformers, solenoids and small motors draw a short inrush that trips fast-acting control fuses. The CCTD-05 is a 5 A, 600 V AC Class CC time-delay fuse from Holly's HC10SR series, rated 300 V DC and sold in a 5-pack. Its 10.3 x 38.1 mm body fits Class CC rejection fuse holders in control panels and small motor branch circuits.
Why panel builders pick it
- Time-delay characteristic rides through transformer and coil inrush.
- 200,000 A interrupting rating at 600 V AC.
- Class CC rejection-style body fits compact DIN-rail holders.
- cULus approved to UL 248-4.
- 5-pack keeps spares in the panel or on the truck.

Pro tip from the counter
Class CC fuses have a small button on one end so they seat in Class CC rejection holders, which physically refuse ordinary 13/32 x 1-1/2 in midget fuses. Keep that protection in place: if a panel has older non-rejection midget holders, have your electrician swap them for CC holders rather than letting a lower-rated midget fuse get dropped in later.
Best for: control transformer primaries, motor control panels, solenoid and contactor coil circuits, small motor branch circuits
