Bathroom and shower-area pot lights need a closed trim that keeps moisture away from the lamp. The Galaxy Lighting 505WH is a 6 in line voltage shower trim in white with a lens, made to finish a 6 in recessed housing and lamped with one A19 bulb up to 60 W. Galaxy lists it for damp locations with a CSA or equivalent safety listing.

Pro tip from the counter
A trim is only rated for a damp location when it's installed in a housing that lists it as a compatible trim. Check the label inside your 6 in line voltage housing for this trim's model or Galaxy's shower trim series before relying on it over a tub or shower, and use an enclosed-rated LED A19 behind the lens.
Best for: bathroom and shower ceilings, laundry rooms, covered entries, renovations reusing existing 6 in housings, rental unit bathroom refreshes
