Pro tip from the counter

Aim and walk-test it after dark with the Time knob at its 5 second minimum so each pass gives quick feedback, and only then raise the time. Point the sensor across the path people walk rather than straight at them, because PIR sensors pick up sideways motion much more readily than someone walking head-on.
