The Intermatic WP5100BL is a black, single-gang, extra-duty plastic in-use weatherproof cover with a 2.75 in deep lid, so a plug can stay in while the lid shuts over it. The black finish blends into dark siding, brick and trim, and the base mounts vertically or horizontally.

Pro tip from the counter
Where an extension cord stays plugged in for months, like a block heater or a string of patio lights, bring the cord out through the lid's bottom cord exit and leave a small drip loop below the cover. Water running down the cord then drips off the loop instead of following the jacket into the receptacle face.
