Turolight says these tubes are not recommended on ballasts 5 years or older. Before relamping a whole floor, pull a lens and read the date code and model on a few ballasts, check them against Turolight's ballast compatibility list, and replace the old ballasts or choose a ballast bypass tube where they fail either test.
