Commercial panelboards built for bolt-on QO breakers need bolt-on replacements. The Square D QOB120 is a 20 A, single-pole, 120/240 VAC QO miniature circuit breaker in the bolt-on style, with a 10 kA interrupting rating. Electricians use it for 20 A receptacle, lighting and equipment branch circuits in Square D panelboards that take QOB breakers.

Pro tip from the counter
Tighten the load lug to the 36 lb-in shown on the breaker with a torque screwdriver instead of by feel. A loose lug on a busy 20 A circuit is one of the most common hot spots found on a thermal scan.
