The mechanism-only version of Intermatic's 12 hour spring wound countdown timer, SPST, rated 125-277 VAC at 50/60 Hz, without the HOLD feature. Intermatic titles it Mechanism Only and lists the colour as black. It is the part you order when the dial plate on an existing FF Series timer is fine and the mechanism behind it has given up.
Two things separate this from the complete commercial timers in the same family, and both of them cost you on site if you miss them. First, it has no HOLD: Intermatic lists Hold Mode Included as No, so the knob only counts down and breaks the circuit at the end of the cycle. There is no way to park the load on. Second, Intermatic does not list a wall plate as included on this catalogue number, where the complete FF12HHC carries an explicit Includes Wall Plate entry. Treat FF12H10 as the mechanism behind an existing plate. Electrically it is the same FF Series device - same voltage range, same load ratings, same spring wound mechanism that needs no power to keep time.

Pro tip from the counter
Keep the old dial plate. On an FF Series swap the plate slips over a threaded extension and is held by a stamped nut, so it comes off intact if you are careful - and since the mechanism-only part does not bring a new one, that nut is the difference between finishing today and coming back.
Best for: replacing a failed FF Series spring wound mechanism where the existing dial plate and knob are sound, and no HOLD function is wanted on the circuit.
Does the FF12H10 include a wall plate?
Intermatic titles this catalogue number Mechanism Only and does not list a wall plate as included, unlike the complete FF12HHC which states that a plate is included.
What is the difference between FF12H10 and FF12HHC?
