Pro tip from the counter
Set the box height only after you know the finished floor build-up, including underlayment and the hardwood or tile. A 5-1/4 in brass flange needs to sit flat on the finished surface; if the box is proud or recessed, the cover rocks or leaves a gap that traps dirt. Have the box number on hand when you order, too.
