The Intermatic WP1230C sits in the middle of Intermatic's double-gang plastic in-use range: a 3.125 in deep clear cover for two-gang outdoor boxes, deep enough for thicker cord caps and GFCI plugs while staying lower-profile than the 4.75 in model. The lid hinges vertically, and six inserts adapt it to up to 70 device combinations.

Pro tip from the counter

Because the lid hinges vertically only, mount the two-gang box so the cords drop out the bottom opening. If the box is turned sideways on a post or rail, the cord exit ends up on the side where rain runs straight in.
