Cove, cabinet and display lighting looks cheap when every LED dot shows. The Nexleds NX-08COB320-8W-IP65 is an 8 mm COB (chip-on-board) LED tape light with 320 chips per metre for a continuous line of light in 3000K warm white. This IP65 version has a protective coating against dust and splashing water, and it comes on a 5 metre reel for 24 V DC systems.

Pro tip from the counter
A full 5 m reel at 8 W per metre draws about 40 W, so pair it with a 24 V driver that has headroom; a common rule is to load a driver to no more than 80% of its rating. On long runs, feed power at both ends so the far end doesn't look dimmer.
Best for: cove lighting, under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, retail displays, bathroom vanity and shelf accents
