The Eurofase Midway 45375-019 is a 4 in square slim LED downlight, 12 W, with a switch that selects 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K and up to 703 lumens. Its IC-rated, airtight die-cast body is 15/16 in tall, it installs from below with spring clips and Eurofase approves it for wet locations.

Pro tip from the counter
On new construction, order Eurofase's 45376-016 smash plate with the lights. It fastens to the framing before drywall and marks the 4-1/4 in hole, so the drywaller can cut every opening in a straight row instead of you locating each one afterwards with a stud finder.
Best for: basement and main floor renovations, insulated top-floor ceilings, bathrooms and covered soffits, condos with shallow ceiling space
