Portable 480 V three-phase tools and small machines in indoor shops need a plug that can't be forced into a lower-voltage outlet. The Techspan SCM420P7S is a 20 A, 480 V three-phase, 3-pole 4-wire IEC 60309 pin and sleeve plug, keyed at 7 o'clock with the red 480 V colour code and rated IP44 splashproof. It mates with SCM420C7S connectors and SCM420R7S receptacles.

Pro tip from the counter
A splashproof IP44 plug will mate with a watertight IP67 receptacle of the same rating, but the pair is only as sealed as the IP44 half. If the connection sits in a washdown area or outdoors, order the watertight plug (SCM420P7W) so the threaded ring actually seals against the IP67 receptacle.
