When a machine harness exits sideways along a frame or cabinet wall, a side-entry hood keeps the cable from sticking out or kinking. The Techspan ESTL16D5 is a 16-pole plus ground heavy-duty connector hood with double locking levers and a side cable entry with a PG21 thread, for 16 A, 600 V E-series rectangular connectors.

Pro tip from the counter
The entry is a PG21 thread, not NPT, so a standard North American 3/4 in NPT cord grip won't thread in. Order a PG21 cord grip sized to your cable OD with the hood, or Techspan's NPT-entry version of the hood if the shop only stocks NPT fittings.
