When a machine cable is unplugged for a move or service, its connector hood needs a lid to keep coolant, dust and washdown water off the contacts. The Techspan EL10SL is a single-lever protective cover for 10-pole plus ground heavy-duty rectangular connectors (size 57.27), made for hoods that have two pegs. It is the Techspan equivalent of the ILME CHC 10 LG, with an epoxy-coated die-cast aluminum body and gasket.

Pro tip from the counter
The IP66 seal only works if the gasket closes on a clean face. Before snapping the lever shut, wipe grit and dried coolant off the hood's sealing edge, because one grain of debris on the gasket leaves a gap that washdown water will find.
