Exit signs in Canadian buildings now use the green running man pictogram, and many sites feed their signs from a central emergency battery system. The Etlin-Daniels EX300BLM-U24D-GU is an LED running man exit sign with a black metal frame and tapered body, for single- or double-sided installation. It runs on 120-347 V AC normal power and accepts 6-24 V DC, and Etlin-Daniels lists it as complying with CSA C22.2 No. 141-15.

Pro tip from the counter
The U24D version is built to take DC from a remote emergency battery unit or central system. If the building has no emergency DC circuit to that location, order Etlin-Daniels' self-contained battery version (EX300BLM-A13-BB-GU) instead, or the sign will go dark in a power failure.
Best for: commercial and industrial buildings with central emergency power, 347 V lighting circuits, schools and offices, retrofit of red EXIT signs
