Pro tip from the counter
Confirm the fixture has a photocell knockout or factory provision in the right spot, and point the eye away from the lamp and any nearby floodlight so its own light does not switch it off. To test in daylight, cover the sensor completely with electrical tape and give it a minute, since many photocells have a short built-in delay.
