A living room or bedroom fan should move plenty of air quietly without adding much to the hydro bill. The Banvil Drift 52 in DC ceiling fan (DS-DR52-3PI-WH) pairs a white body with three solid pine blades, runs a 6-speed reversible DC motor rated at 8,307 CFM, and includes a dimmable 3CCT LED light, a light delete cover and a remote.
Why homeowners and installers pick it
- DC motor draws 41 W including the light, for about 319 CFM per watt.
- 6 speeds and reverse from the included remote; wall control sold separately.
- 15 W LED light kit with 2700K, 3400K or 5000K settings, dimmable from the remote.
- Light delete cover included, so it can be installed as a fan-only unit.
- Standard 6 in downrod with 18, 24 and 36 in downrods available; sloped ceiling compatible to 14°.

Pro tip from the counter
Banvil lists the Drift for sloped ceilings up to 14°, so measure the pitch with an angle finder before promising it for a vaulted room. A 3/12 roof pitch is right at 14°, and a 4/12 pitch is about 18°, which is already past the limit.
Best for: living rooms and bedrooms, open-concept great rooms, cottages and Scandinavian or rustic interiors, replacing older AC-motor fans, builders offering a fan-plus-light package
