A 13/16 in combination wrench fills the gap between the 3/4 and 7/8 in sizes most bags already carry. The Klein Tools 68419 has a 12-point box end and an open end of the same size, both offset 15 degrees for clearance over obstructions, forged from alloy steel with a nickel-chrome finish. It is sold individually, for replacing a lost size or building out a set.
Why electricians pick it
- Open and box ends share the same 13/16 in opening, so you can switch ends on one fastener.
- 15-degree offset on both ends clears obstructions and gives swing room.
- 12-point box end re-grips in short arcs when the handle can't travel far.
- Forged alloy steel with corrosion-resistant nickel-chrome plating.
- 10-5/8 in length gives good leverage without being awkward in a pouch.

Pro tip from the counter
Don't reach for a 21 mm wrench when the 13/16 in is missing. 13/16 in works out to about 20.6 mm, so the metric wrench sits loose on the flats and is the one that rounds a nut's corners; on metric hardware that really is 21 mm, the 13/16 in is too tight to go on at all.
Best for: equipment and transformer mounting, strut and anchor hardware, maintenance crews replacing a single size, filling out an SAE wrench set
