Klein's curved-jaw Chicago grip is built for extra-high-strength (EHS) galvanized-steel cable, where a standard grip's jaws tend to get coated by the galvanizing and let the cable slip. The jaws are milled on a curve with a double V contour to keep grip on the cable's surface.

  • Jaw design: curved, double V contour milled jaws
  • Works on: aluminum, copper, weatherproof coated wire, PVC covered conductors, messenger and guy strand
  • Locking handle holds the jaw open for placement with a hot stick

Best for: crews pulling EHS galvanized-steel cable where a standard grip's jaws would slip on the galvanized coating.
