The Arlington FB443F is the single-drywall version of Arlington's L-shaped ONE-BOX™ fan and fixture vapour box. It side-mounts to a joist, seals to the air barrier with a gasketed flange, and offers 18.8 cu in for splices. For Canadian installs it is CSA rated for a 50 lb fan or fixture; the higher 70 lb fan and 200 lb fixture figures are its UL (US) rating.

Order by ceiling build-up: FB443F is for one layer of 1/2 in or 5/8 in drywall, FB443FD for double drywall. Put the single-drywall box under a double layer and the face ends up recessed behind the board, so confirm the ceiling spec on the drawings before the carton is pulled.
