Before ordering, check what the old cans held: an 8 in housing that ran two 26 W CFLs was putting out much more light than this 1,000 lumen module, so a one-for-one swap can leave a corridor dim; the same CDR 8 in family goes up to 1,500, 2,000 and 3,300 lumen versions.
