Emergency lights and exit signs fail their monthly test when the battery can no longer hold a charge. The UB645 is a 6 V 4.5 Ah sealed lead acid (SLA) AGM replacement battery with F1 0.187 in tab terminals, a common size in emergency lighting units, alarm panels and small backup systems. Being sealed and spill-proof, it can be mounted in any position.

Pro tip from the counter
Check the terminal width on the old battery before ordering. This UB645 has 0.187 in F1 tabs, and an emergency light wired with 0.250 in F2 connectors will need the connectors changed, which is easy to miss until you are on the ladder.
