Conveyors, doors, lifts and machine slides need a limit switch that signals position reliably and survives a plant floor. The Lovato KME1S11N is a K-series limit switch with a plastic roller lever plunger, metal body and 1NO+1NC snap-action contacts, built to EN 50047 dimensions. The N version has a single bottom cable entry threaded 1/2 in NPT for North American conduit fittings.

Pro tip from the counter

Wire the NC contact for the stop or end-of-travel signal so a cut wire drops the circuit out instead of leaving it running. Set the cam to push the roller only partway into its travel rather than bottoming out the plunger, which is what wears the head out on high-cycle conveyors.
