Closets, bookshelves, niches and hallways often need a slim line of light rather than a round pot. The Nexleds NX-6TW-8W-5CCT-C34 is a 120 V mini linear LED light, 8 W and 500 lumens, with a 5CCT switch from 2700K to 5000K and 90+ CRI. It recesses into a 6-3/4 x 1-7/8 in cut-out and is dimmable.

Lay out the 6-3/4 x 1-7/8 in rectangular cut-out with a paper template and check for joists and blocking first. The fixture is rated IP20, so keep it to dry locations such as closets, shelving and hallways, not shower ceilings.
