Arlington low-voltage brackets, mud rings, and cable-management wall plates route data, coax, HDMI, and AV cables through finished walls without a full electrical box — suited for low-voltage retrofit and new-work. Stocked in Canada by Maple Electric — priced in CAD, ships Canada-wide, will-call pickup available.
Common questions
Can I use a low-voltage bracket for a power receptacle?
No. Low-voltage brackets are open-back mounting rings and are not code-compliant for line-voltage receptacles. Use a standard box or a listed dual-service box for anything carrying line voltage.
Do these fit standard decorator wall plates?
Yes — Arlington low-voltage brackets are sized to accept standard decorator (Decora-style) and duplex wall plates, so cover-plate colour and finish match the rest of the room.
Is a low-voltage bracket enough for an in-wall HDMI run?
Mechanically yes; per the CEC, in-wall HDMI runs still require a plenum- or in-wall-rated cable (CL2/CL3 or higher) — the bracket does not change the cable requirement. Confirm with your integrator or licensed electrician.
