Common questions
What size mast flashing do I need for a 2" service mast?
Match the flashing bore to the actual mast OD (a 2" rigid mast has roughly 2.375" OD). Arlington flashings are sized to the mast trade size printed on the product — pick by trade size, not conduit ID.
Are SEU connectors interchangeable with SER connectors?
Some Arlington SEU/SER connectors are dual-listed for both flat SEU and round SER; others are cable-specific. The listed cable range is on the spec sheet — the wrong connector on the wrong cable type is not CEC-compliant.
Is service-entrance work something I can DIY?
Service-entrance work is live-line work in most Canadian jurisdictions and must be done by a licensed electrician coordinated with the utility. Maple supplies the fittings; installation and code compliance are the licensed electrician's responsibility per the CEC.
