## More about Klein Tools Hex & Torx Keys

Klein hex and Torx keys handle lug screws, set screws on couplings and connectors, breaker accessories, and equipment covers — imperial and metric, ball-end and standard, in fold-up, T-handle, and L-key formats.

**Ball-end vs straight hex — which do I want?**
Ball-end lets you drive a screw at up to ~25° off-axis — useful in tight panels. Straight hex transfers more torque without rounding. Most electricians carry both; reach for the ball-end for awkward angles, straight for final torque.
**Do I need Torx for electrical work?**
Yes, occasionally. Torx (T15–T30) shows up on some breaker accessories, LED fixtures, EV chargers, and imported industrial gear. A small Torx set in the bag prevents stripped heads on jobs that don't accept hex.
**Fold-up set vs loose L-keys?**
Fold-up sets keep sizes together and won't roll out of a pouch. Loose L-keys give better reach in deep recesses and let you double up for higher torque. Tradesmen often own one fold-up for service work and a loose set for the shop.
